Hi, I'm Finnur Matteo.
I'm a 2D animator and story artist who recently graduated from the Iceland University of the Arts. I'm drawn to stories that feel personal, emotional, and character focused, and I'm particularly interested in animation as a way of expressing thought, personality, and human connection.
My work combines animation, animatics, drawing, and comics, with a focus on storytelling and performance. I enjoy exploring both subtle acting and broader, more expressive movement, always looking for ways to make characters feel alive on screen.
At the moment, I'm building my professional portfolio, developing personal projects, and looking for opportunities within the animation industry through internships, collaborations, and junior positions.
